Gravity die casting
- The die is preheated and a suitable coating is applied to the die cavity before the molten metal is poured.
- The metal is melted to the required temperature and transferred to the preheated die using a ladle, where it is poured into the die cavity under gravity.
- The molten metal is then poured steadily into the die cavity under gravity, ensuring smooth and controlled filling.
- The molten metal is then allowed to cool and solidify completely inside the die.
- Once the metal has fully solidified, the die is opened and the cast component is carefully removed.
- Finally, the cast component is machined and finished as required to meet the specified dimensions and customer requirements.
